The Internet Addiction
Thesis:
The college students in Taiwan spend too much time on the computer and the Internet. This phenomenon will decrease Taiwan student’s competitiveness in the world and will also harm them mentally and physically.
I. Introduction: the status of Internet nowadays
(Nowadays, the world has been improved a lot by hi-tech development. Technologic products are widely seen in daily life such as television, refrigerator, motors, cell-phones, and computers. It seems that people will live hard without these hi-tech products…)

IV. Problems which the Internet causes
A. Mentally
1. Having strong desire to stay in front of computers, like drug addiction.
2. Becoming alone because does not have enough time with people. (autism)
3. Lying to hide the real degree that one addicts to the Internet.
4. If the condition gets more serious, the addict will possibly have .melancholia.
B. Physically
1. Getting fat because spend too much time sitting.
2. Health will get poor since does not exercise.
3. Some physical pains will occur because overusing arms, eyes, and so on.
4. Overexposed under radiation would probably bring some disease.
V. Impact on the future
A. It can affect students’ schooling, daily lives, personalities, and so on.
B. The Internet addiction will lower Taiwan students’ future competitiveness.
VI. Conclusion
It’s not a pleasant phenomenon that people addict to the Internet because it has multiple effects.
